    Default Laptop constantly over-heating

Any suggestions how I can cool down my laptop, I have replaced the laptop fan and still no luck, I have it stood up so the fan can breath but it still tends to over-heat over like an hour or so of heavy use and just shuts down randomly?

You may have an unknown program which is heavy on CPU resources? I had this problem, fresh install sorted it

Probs need to dismantle it use some compressed air and get rid of the dust. If that doesn't work you should replace the thermal paste, but when I had a laptop that kept overheating and shutting down I would just put lots of books to prop it up and give ample air. You could always invest in one of those laptop cooling pads I don't think they are too expensive.

Do you normally place it on the table or the floor or on your lap? Because it is one of the factors that cause the laptop to suffer from over-heating. Mine had once, because i constantly used it on the bed. So either i place it on the cushion or work at the table.
