The thing is Mike, a lot of people assume that because something can be purchased cheaper with a coupon then it's not worth buying at all, like you said pretty much. There are so many coupons out there that give you money off different things and it doesn't necessarily mean they're not worth the amount that you would usually pay because they are. For example, if you go on FreeStuffUK or something you are available to get freebies and vouchers off certain products - you can get yogurts for free for example, and they're good brands like Activia so does that mean they're literally not worth anything?

Coupons are available for high valued items too - like if you put a discount code in online that's similar to a coupon, more of an e-coupon, but just because something is available cheaper doesn't decrease the quality of the product! I understand that's the opinion you have though and I don't want it to sound like I'm calling you up on it, I'm just saying there are a lot of things that are available and not just the rubbish cheap brand stuff.
But I never said any of that at all lol
I meant that the effort to get vouchers isn't really worth it if your main shopping habits are buying things that are already pretty cheap like a newspaper (40p), coke (£1), sweets (£1), McDonalds (£5) etc.

I use lots of £5 coupons that may or may not be actually mine and totally not taken from work.
I then may or may not give stolen coupons to Laura if she ever needs them
    Totally legit coupons

Nah, some of them are legit
So yes, I use coupons often

Do you cut and save coupons?

Why would it be embarrassing to use a coupon to save money? If the company is offering a discount you'd be a fool to purposely pay extra when you can save money.

I always do a quick Google when I order things online and normally save a bit - which all adds up to a substantial amount over time.

If it's something I want or will need then I will buy what ever is on the voucher at a discounted price. I don't normally just buy stuff cause it's cheaper than normal, I do however use my student discount everywhere I can! I'm in thousands of £ of debt, the least I deserve is £3 off of a t-shirt.

I never seem to be able to find coupons, and if I do there usually for things I don't need/want. I do use that student discount for mcdonalds though and have been getting petrol for my car from sainsburys since that nectar deal has been on this month.
