Rubber Balls gone for Walkies.
Over on .com.sg some evil scammers tried to steal a truck load of the amazingly groovy rubber balls. Lucky enough, Kitty and his feline team of supercats leaped into the back of the truck. Unfortunately, the balls scattered everyone and are now loose and lost all around the Habbo Hotel Singapore Website .
Saffron and her team of super singapore staff are asking people to help find them, or else who knows what might happen!

V8 is finarly here But As you all know everyone is having problems with it With furni Dissapering and Not being able to Stand on petals Removing a Load of your Friends and non habbos Complaining about them not having the new dances the (FAQ'S) did get updated when the did this change and that is more helpful beacuse you get to see what the Did to the hotel But the good things about v8 is that when going though the Hand it dont go back to the Front when Taking somthing out and when going by somthing what is in your hand you could just click back and get it Also v8 is Somthing now where you start seeing habbo Bring out all the new rares Etc, habbo only did this To make habbo more fun and somthing to Look forward To as you all know when habbo went on Matinece Break you all was Excited beacuse you thought it was coming out right then but when it did come out you all had somthing you did not like well Give it Chance you never know you might have somthing to look forward to somtime in the Future

entry as you may know the v8 came out on the 13th of september there are some good points with it but some bad so here are some.(good points) I think v8 is good because its makes hc a lot better like having 2 new public rooms, Lots more dances and you can buy more hc for cheaper like 1 month 25 creds 3 months 60 creds 6 months 105 cred thats better value. Also it have a queue system which tell you how long you need to wait to get in a public room. (Bad Things). You can't have so much people on your consle, hc 500 ,non hc is about 100. Its is a little bit slower. Overall i would give it a thumbs up but something a thumbs down.

Fansite Month...Been and gone!

The eagerly anticipated fansite month is here, and has unfortunately....finished. Throughout the month of May, the official fansites organised competitions, quests, meet the staff events, games, you guessed it, everything habbo UK had to offer!


Most fansites decided to take a few chosen days to host their events, for example, V-Habbo began the first day with 'Tag' in the Theatredrome, which didn't run too smoothly, as people kept saying they were not out. So one of the V-Habbo decided to hold competitions in his room, which worked out well.

As the days and weeks drifted on, numerous quests were posted on the habbo homepage, giving everyone a chance to give them a go. Overall, these quests were challenging and fun, but there was just the problem of... mazes. 25 habbos in one room, trying to get to the next room to find a clue. It was a nightmare, with people calling for help, because someone was blocking.
Looking past that, however, some organised events on the calendar, were not held on the due time and date, and were held later on in the month.

Fortunately, by the end of July, there were many happy habbos with many good prizes, and the fansite staff were utterly exhausted! On May 31st, an event to mark the end of Fansite month was held in the Theatredrome, with the last prizes being dished out. If you missed it, then hit yourself! You missed a great event on habbo! If ever there was an awards show for the best event of the year, Fansite Month, May 2005 would be the winner.

Habbo Hotel Canada's Crazy Week

This week on Habbo Hotel Canada has been a wild one, There have been numerous happenings in a very short amount of time, with new expensive prizes being handed out.



It all started September 9th, with the Opening of Trouble's Pet Pound, where habbos can send in applications to Trouble stating why they would be the best Habbo to take care of one of the stray pets located in the Pound.



Afterwards, the Habbo Explore Poll came out! Habbos had their chance to say If they liked or disliked the Habbo Explore Competition that took place throughout the summer. As well, comments and suggestions were asked by Habbo Staff for ways to improve for a forcoming massive competition. Habbo Staff also announced the top 10 Survivor Point leaders for the Habbo Explore Competition, and all 10 of the habbos recieved "the ultimate Habbo Explore prize" which is the Black Smoke Machine!



Thirdly, Habbo Canada had the Sports Furni all Released into the catalogue, including the 3 Hockey Sticks and the Basketball Trophy, and all 9 Sports furni were only 5 Credits!



This Friday (September 16) saw the Grand Opening of the Habbo Entertainment Complex which came with a quiz, with the prize being 40 Digital TVs being Handed out to 40 Habbos who correctly answer all the questions! Click Here to enter the quiz!



Lastly, the Sprite Scramble Quest Winners were announced today, the lucky 10 Habbos recieved a massive prize which was comprised of... 1 Pop Machine, 200 Credits and 2 Months of HC!

Well, over the last week a lot of things have changed in the world of Habbo Hotel, well at least on the UK's one! Only a compartively short time after the last major Habbo upgrade, another release has been unvailed to UK as one of it's first testing hotels. Enter the Wacky and Wonderful World of Habbo Version 8! Welcome to Habbo's only full overview of the amazing new features we have now received - but of course every story has another side, so included are some of the not so good things it has brought us, but remember, it's completely exclusive to Habbox!

When you read on your will find a title for each feature, follwed by an in-depth description of what it does!

New HC Only Public Spaces

Quite a lot of the new enhancements in v8 are for only Habbo Club members, and this is possibly the best one of them all - enter HC-Only public rooms. These are really good, and are some of the best public room designs to date! They are rather dramatically named House of Flying Carrots and The Majestic.

Habbo Club Queueing System

Now when you try to enter a full public room, you are presented with a loading room dialog, which contains where you are int he queue. This works out well if you are in the Habbo Club, as you have priority over normal members, but if you have deicded not to purchase club time, you are very unlikely to get into full rooms.

Dramatically Improved Habbo ID System

The layout of the Habbo ID dialog has changed dramatically. It is now clearly layed out and set up far better for people that are new to Habbo. The Habbo registtration system has also changed with it.

The Completed Habbo Purse

Now, the Habbo Purse has been improved massively so it allow you to check how much camera film you ahve and also the number of tickets you have for public rooms games. This has been wanted for a long time, and is very useful.

A Better Way to Carry your Furni

Habbo have greatly improved the hand. Say goodbye to clicking the hand by mistake when you are trying to pick something up, and it closing itself - now it can only be closed by the close button.

To navigate through the hand there are now left and right arrows, so if you miss and item you can go back!

Better Dances for HC's

HC's now have 4 new dances to enjoy and non-HC's are left with the dated Dance button!

Duck Funk – For the cool & casual dancer
Pogo Mongo – Something for the flamboyant and energetic Habbos!
Hab-Hop – The original, tradional and all-time classic dance.

An To-be-Honest Unfair Console

Now the otherwise unchanged Habbo COnsole has been updated. Now HC's can only have 500 friends and non-HC's are limited to 100. If you try to accept or send a request and the list is full, you get a popup asking you to delete some friends.

Overall, V8 is full of pro's and cons! Well, enjoy the new features, and wait til later for some far more suttle changes, like different TV programs. Remember, Habbo never stops!
