i would tell my partner if they had bad breath/b.o but only if they were going out, ur allowed to be smelly if ur having a lazy day
id only tell friends if they asked

I would tell my partner and would actually expect my partner to tell me too. I wouldn't tell a friend though as I wouldn't want to offend them.

ye i'd always tell my partner if they were smelly, we are very open about it! id definitely rather not smell as my breath and body odour is a big concern to me so i am always very vocal telling people i might be smelly or something, or ill cover my mouth if ive ate stanky food so i dont get my stinky breath up in their face. my closest friends id deffo tell, but probs not my regular friends about their bo and breath

I'm really self conscious about this because my mother tells me I smell all the time which stresses me out because I think she's lying as sometimes I can literally just have stepped out the shower and be squeaky clean but she still leans in, sniffs and makes a comment that I stink

And I ask my friends quite a lot because I'm so paranoid and they always tell me I'm fine and they're definitely telling the truth.
But just to be sure I always carry spray deodorant (and put some on in the mornings as I get dressed) and if I know I'm going somewhere hot I'll wear perspirex stuff even tho I don't think I've ever needed it particularly because I'm so worried.

But errr if my partner/close friend smelled I would tell them but I'd make a joke out of it, you know like just say something lighthearted so they don't feel bad. Someone I'm not so close to I'd never tell tho

Partner definitely yes! Friends would depend on how close we are though I think, but I wouldn't be OFFENDED if someone said it to me, it's not a malicious thing to point out?
