I traded a lot, but I also gained a lot from co-owning @Pigperson;'s arcade and gained most of my wealth from that too, from then on I just kept trading and managed to get to an amount that many would class as rich.

Also, Limited Edition Rares helped too, I was lucky enough to get the #4 Black Leviathan, as well as 2 #1 bunnies and 2 #2 horsemen so reselling those for profit helped too.

A lot of really rich users use deceit/underground/casinos. I'm not sure how prevalent this is now as I haven't played in years. If you're interested read Hachette's story (search owner - Hachette) on console top room (if it's still there) his story is written on the sticky notes.
