Have the recent acts of terrorism put you off going away?

not rly cause i feel like it can happen here anyway so w.e

but am pretty terrified now of going on planes because of all the disappearances and disasters... don't want that to ruin my life tho so ill just be popping sleeping pills before i go on any lol

Not especially bothered, I don't care about going away anyway so won't make any difference to me at all

I'm not really the sort of person to go on holiday by myself (and lord knows I have noone willing to go with me) so technically no it's not affected me at all but if I was thinking of going away, I would be really scared of it. My parents were recently in Paris and I spent the whole weekend really worried because they were at a big event thing and I was so scared it'd be targeted

not europe but countries like turkey and north african countries no way ! wouldn't go there anyway

I'd feel more safe in Burma (a country I want to go) than Turkey now. Had I said that five years ago it'd be a strange statement to have made, not now.

I mean, Burma is typically a very safe country to visit anyway nowadays

Not out me off at all. Still moving around frequently, including to recent targets. If anything, I would argue London is a risky call now... inevitably something I'll happen to sooner or later.

Being scared is letting them win - of course, staying safe is also important, but I would argue the risk of being involved in an attack is minimal.
