Nah, I'm quitting Habbox and going to just use HFFM's arcade. At least if I beat jen's bozzle score there, I wouldn't lose it again after less than 3 months

You won't lose it in 3 months, as I explained the 'best score' is retained whether it's 3 month old or 3 years old.

Both (lol there's no way I'd beat jen's bozzle score, I'm terrible at that game).

I'm not going to pretend it's a huge loss to the community or that I contribute hugely to anything. Nowadays, I just like to play arcade games between my binge-watching of tv shows. Part of why I enjoy using the arcade is the competitive side of it and working the way up the leaderboard. That's not here anymore so I'll just go somewhere it is.

I don't make any decisions around here.

In my opinion it makes the arcade more interesting and keeps it competitive especially for newer people who haven't camped the arcade for 3 years to get the top score.

of course for historic reasons the best score will remain so the people who spent ages getting their score will still have recognition, while keeping new users interested as they're not trying to beat a score of 2 trillion

pruning it allows for older games to be used as arcade competitions and basically all of what scott said as well

It makes it less competitive because there's no motivation for them to want to beat those high scores if any progress they make is reset after 3 months. The more effective way to accomplish what you were actually looking for is adding more games so that Lewis with "10 high scores" or Inseriousity. with "8 high scores" have to keep playing because there are now so many games their stronghold on the leaderboard has weakened and there is more of a threat to their position.

The 'best scores' are basically like the old high scores though aren't they and will still update if you beat them? So people could still compete to try to beat the actual best scores, not just try to get a temp high score? idk if that makes sense haha! Its basically just like a lower level of high scores has been added, but the best scores is effectively the old high scores system still intact?
