Default how much do you usually spend on your partner for xmas?

Just done my xmas shopping for mine (well most still got some bits to go) and have spent £160 so far (will probably end up spending lots more though as still have the whole of december and 2 pay days to go this is the trouble with doing your shopping early) I think I've genuinely got so much for my money so far, two main presents are nintendo 2ds with pokemon moon and a nescafe coffee machine and then i've got loads of other bits and bobs from places like boots, paperchase, john lewis, amazon. How much do you usually spend on your other half? Do you expect them to spend the same on you? Personally I don't expect half as much back as I'm the one with the better salary and regardless I just enjoy spending on other people

wow lol. we stick to a budget of £40 usually that's roughly how much the things i want are - clothes, games, shoes etc. we both receive a lot of gifts from other people so we don't need to spend too much on each other and if one of us wants something worth more, we just get our family to pay towards it as a joint gift. for ex, scott wanted something worth £70-£80 last year so i put in £40 and my mum put in the rest. if we didn't receive or spend as much on other people (think we spent almost £500 on Christmas gifts for family/friends) then i would probably spend a lot more.

Each year we both agree on a price that we will spend up to for each, same with anniversary. Each year tends to vary, usually about 30+. This year it's 50 and I've spent 25 so far, won't say on what because he may end up reading.

I'm not sure - I was going to get my boyfriend a tablet, but his old one will be fine for now so I'm getting him other bits instead. He's spent a lot on me, I know that - he's technically spent £150 as he got me a PS4 (it was a big farce, but I ended up with the PS4 Slim for the same price so it was great). We decided to go halves on that so he could get me some surprises too. I know he's also got me the headphones I asked for which were £12.50 and as for anything else I'm not sure.

So far (I've bought most of his presents today, but I need a main/big present too) I've spent around £16 on him, so I've got a bit to go yet! To say I've only spent that on him, I've actually bought him 5 presents so I'm not doing too bad. I wont say what they are in case he ever has the urge to log in to his account on here again .

Don't have a partner but me and my sis normally spend more on one and other than the rest of the family and we normally spend between £3-400.
