Gay people are commonly called queer and other names that they dont like. So my question to all gays reading this thread is: What term for homosexual do you prefer to be used when someone is talking about/to you?

lol reminds me of a time in high school when the supply teacher called my friend a whale (he was quite big). it was funny at the time...hilarious in fact....but she shouldn't of said it. we never saw her agen after that anyway lol.

I'm not gay, but I wouldn't want to be labelled either. Like someone above said, I wouldn't go around calling people straight. If I had to choose, just "Gay" or "Not straight!"
