    Default Fortnite Battle Royale

Anybody else play this game? It's on PC, PS4 and Xbox, and is free to play. It's a 100 player battle royale style game in a similar vein to PUBG, and is essentially a different mode off of the main Fortnite game. I've been enjoying it over the past week or so, but playing squads sucks. There's so much team killing.

Yes I played on Xbox for a bit - I don't really like it as much as PUBG but with all of its current issues with hacking and the lack of **** REGION LOCK, I'm happy to play fortnight. Its quite a "spare 10 minutes" game.

I think Fortnite is more visually appealing, PUBG looks kinda ugly. You're right, though. It's definitely more arcade-like than PUBG, and I think a lot of people probably play it in short bursts. It's very well optimised, though. I've experienced little to none glitches or issues, besides the log in queue during busy times. I think it has the potential to be a really well rounded game, but it's still in early access, so it all depends on how committed the developers are. They release a small update every week, and some bigger things on a bi-monthly basis, but I'd really like to see a couple of new maps and permanent modes.

Yeah, it's the arcade mode style that puts me off but I can imagine how it turns others on. Totally agree - I haven't played much but it runs beautifully on my Xbox.

So it's the biggest game in the world right now. Anybody else jumped on board?

Following on from my previous post, yes I've well and truly jumped on board. I'm absolutely trash at building but I'm not too bad at the fighting side of it - not got a win under my belt yet.

I have a couple of wins both solo and squads, but usually choke when it gets to single digits. Can't usually compete at that sweat level stage in the game. I like to have some music or a bit of background noise when I play games, but to do any good in Fortnite you need to be so focused. I usually play squads because it lets me approach it a little more casually.
