Photoshop Help Needed :o

How do I:
Make text so that it gradually changes colour I.e Black slowly to grey to white
Make sig backgrounds (Not like leaves and stars and stuff) Like Kaye's

Make your text layer, double click it and it brings up layer styles, choose gradient overlay, fiddle around with the colours till you get what you want Hope that helps

right click the layer you put the text on
click blending options
click gradient overlay
choose a gradient

When you click the text tool in your layers pannel a new layer will appear, the layer will be a big T, Double click that layer!
