What health defects or issues run in your family?

In my family heart issues/attacks really have been the big one, with 3/5 grandparents suffering one. But that said, covering your food in salt and eating dripping sandwiches (vomit) was sort of playing Russian roulette I guess.

    How about you?

My brother has a neurological genetic disorder called Friedreichs Ataxia.
    I carry the gene.
Hyperthyoridism in a few, type 1 diabetes (I'm borderline diabetic and I get my bloods and eyes checked frequently), various eye issues which I seem to have got all them, and lung cancer - even from one who didn't smoke but I guess passive smoking is a killer too. Psorasis in a few which I get flare ups of.

And the one bothering me a lot more recently, MIGRAINES! My mom gets them and apparently they can be genetic.
