    Anyone been to see this?

I'm no massive fan of Queen but I know a lot about Freddie Mercury, know the songs and so on. Anyway had a bit of a crush on Rami Malek who is playing him, and I kinda want to go and see the film now. Critics slammed it apparently but it has got rave reviews from people who've been and seen it.

    Anyone seen/planning to see?

I saw it twice when it came out. Loved it the first time, second time I thought it was a little shallow. I saw someone describe it as a greatest hits compilation, which I thought was apt. It chronicles the inception of Queen's most notable songs and delves a little into Freddie Mercury's personal life, but it's a lot tamer than the version Sacha Baron Cohen wanted to do. Rami Malek is not as captivating here as he is in Mr. Robot, but is brilliant all the same. If you're watching it just for Rami and not for Queen, you'll probably like it.
