I don't think they are strict in some cases, some cases they may be too strict. But remember if you have had a certain amount of bans (2 hours+) then you may recieve a permanent ban if you recieve another ban, they will look it up I think. If you know what I mean

I think they are really harsh! I had a safety ban put on my account 3 month ago and they said they will not take it off! I had 2 make a new account

The people who give the stupid bans are blind people or monkeys in some cases. Anything remotely dirty will get you banned. An example:

"Brb, off to the loo"

You are now banned for discussing things of a sexual nature on Habbo
