Eurovision ~Ends May 17th

If all went well, Eurovision 2020 would have gone ahead this year. However, that does not stop us from saying we can rewatch, re-evaluate and reminisce the past Eurovision Song Contests!


For this competition all I ask for you is to list me your top 3 favourite Eurovision entries in the history of the contest!


For example, my top three favourites of all time are as listed below:

1) Estonia 2015 - Elina Born & Stig Rasta- 'Goodbye to Yesterday'
2) Turkey 1997 - Sebnem Paker - 'Dinle'
3) Albania 2012 - Rona Nishliu - 'Suus'

1) Sweden 2012 - Loreen - Euphoria
Obvious choice but it's just SO good, it literally gives me goosebumps every time

2) Iceland 2019 - Hatari - Hatrid Mun Sigra
First time I heard it I thought they were trying too hard, after that I realised OF COURSE THEY WERE THAT'S THE POINT and have loved this track (and Hatari as a band) ever since

3) Austria 2014 - Conchita Wurst - Rise Like a Phoenix
Not one that I actually listen back to very often I must admit, but it was such a powerful performance and considering I had bad hair and a beard at the time while also navigating various gender issues it was enormously meaningful as a whole


So hard to narrow it down to 3, and don't even care slightly that these are all modern ones they're just brilliant ok

1) Loreen - Euphoria (Sweeden 2012) - is the best Eurovision song of all time, even to this day you hear it come on at 3am in the nightclubs and the atmosphere is immense.

2) Keiino - Spirit In The Sky (2019 - Norway) - One of the hardest losses In Eurovision- this should have hands down won (silly judges) - and one of the funnest crowd reactions I've ever witnessed since attending Eurovision.

3) Gina G - Ohh ahh Just a Little ( United Kingdom - 1996) - I mean if your not already singing this in your head then are you really a Eurovision Fan?
