The latest poll. What's interesting to note is the very similar margin that Truss is leading Sunak by is the same margin that Boris led Hunt by back in 2019 - the final results could almost mirror that result. There have also been a few shameless defections from the Sunak camp over to the Truss camp by some MPs and Lords.

The actual results are announced on the 5th September and the new PM will be invited to take office by HM The Queen on the 6th September. She's currently at Balmoral Castle but is expected to come back early for this, either to Windsor Castle or the more traditional Buckingham Palace for the kissing of hands.

Indeed, which is why most of the FTAs she rolled over were either the same as the EU ones, but with modifications that suited Britain better. Take the UK-NZ FTA compared to the EU-NZ FTA. We've agreed to abolish quotas and tariffs at a much faster rate on NZ imports below making it far superior to the FTA that the EU negotiated with the kiwis. It means cheaper food prices on NZ imports for British consumers much more quickly.

You just voted to ruin this country further. Well done.
