20 Years

oooh today is my 20 years on HabboxForum, quite the milestone. 7,306 days to be exact.

crazy how have been a member of HxF in my life for longer than i haven't been a member.

i remember i used to read the forums in like mid to later 2005 and then eventually decided to join up when i wanted to ask more questions about news stories and post about rare values in the trading forum.

anyway here's to my third decade

That's cool, congrats! I think that reached a place in internet culture where it is much more common for accounts (+ content in general) to be on the radar after decades, versus having the need for constantly switching between platforms that are on the verge of death (ultimately losing the archiving potential etc), so yeah, it is just a matter of time till we are going to celebrate the 50th anniversary of our Bluesky/any social medium you use/ accounts or something


Furthermorrrrrre I 100% overlooked the fact that my account turned 10 recently!! I felt compelled to join up because I had just left high school and I wanted to scratch my art/designing nails just to see if it would made sense for me to pursue an actual career out of being creative visually by doing stuff that could have real-time feedback and use. Looking back, specifically choosing Habbox to do so now seems to me as sort of random (as in: what motivated the choice), but I think that I absolutely loved the animated winter skin that the forum was using by default at the time!!!

And now I am literally typing this via the big screen iMac that I use in my design workspace, and am considering to apply for a phd programme!! Happy non-ending endings!
