    how?

    MUltiply the denominators ( 3 x 4) = 12 thats your denominator

    Then times Diagonally 1 x 4 then 1 x 3 but from \ like that s o it goes

    1 1
    \
    3 4

    Stay with me So1 x 4 and 1 x3 = 3 and 4 add them together you get 7 Simple as that

7/12 and with your whole number its 4 7/12
    Is that it?
We have to do somthing like this -

    Example - 4 1/5 + 2 2/5 (Thats the question)
    So its..

    4 1/5 + 2 2/5 + 21/5 + 12/5 = 105/5 + 60/5 = 165/5 = 6 ? (somthing i dunno what it is over15) /15

    So its like this -

    4 1/5 + 2 2/5 = 4 x 5 + 1 = 21
    2 x 5 + 2 = 12

    12 x 5 = 60
    105 x 5 = 105

    105 + 60 = 165/5 = 6 ( 4+2) (then theres a number here but i dunno how to do it) /15
