It still hits pretty hard, harder if you just have mage robes on.

Unless you're doing it in a different place than I am, their firebreath still hits you, so it's easier to melee them as they don't hit as hard when you have rune armour on.

I only had a misytic top and hat on and the highest hit they did with there fire ball was a 5 and mostly 1's and 0's .
