Why do people harm animals and pets?Its a bit sad really because i'm weak on the inside.
Luckily we have the RSPCA who have helped animals for over 100 years!

im not really a specialist in this area but i'd probly say that people like to take out their anger on their pet, however i havn't really seen anything like this going on so, i can't really give anything valuable to this topic :rolleyes:

Yeah, there could be many answers to why people do it.
The option about because it hurt a family member, animals will usually get put down if they have attacked someone so.. *Confused*

I think some people torture animals because people think they are higher and more mighty than the animals just because they cant defend themselves, i guess some can defend though. I have a story from the news, a man's dog was having puppies and he didn't want them so he starting shooting the puppies one by one, one of the puppies was energetic and bit him, the man dropped the gun and another puppy stepped on it and shot the man. FIGHT BACK!

i agree
i agree with mcgovlou,some people take their anger out by hitting walls, cutting (i ttly dunt arrove of) hitting others, but some hit animals, as some cannot fight back. it is actually a disorder that gives them pleasure by infilicting pain on others by being "the bully".

Well , i think its anger , or when the animal like 'gets in the way' , but personally i think the abusers are just "mucked" (not the word im thinking of) up in the head , i know im for hunting but im against animal abuse and hunts where they kill every fox they see

In January-2005 huntin foxs with hounds will be banned.But Fox huntin with guns ETC; wont be.
