    Default Would this work?

Right, I have a 20GB iPod, the original one, and want a nano. Unfortunately I'mm too much of a cheapskate to go out and buy one. I was wondering, you know how ipods nacker up after a while (battery busting), well if it would work if I kept it on all day and all night, until it wore out, get a refund and buy a nano? Or, anyone know how to remove the back so I could get a fuse or something and replace it with a nackered one? Ty.

I have a nano, not scratched a lot, but if you dont have warranty on the iPod you cant get a refund/replacement if it breaks (battery running down). Other than that, you should be ok getting a nano replacement. Btw, they arent smaller than credit cards, but they are very small. this is mine:

well, this is a blast from the past!!
