    Oookay, it's quite nice I suppose, doesn't really fit with the whole 'lodge' look, apart from it's made from lodge ;S, if you get me. You should start with making the lodge effect parallel with the actual wood direction, it doesn't look right. It's hard to explain, you've gone overboard with the effect anyway and you've put dark colours next to light.

    Thanks. Yeah, I just wanted to practice my shading, and my friend said she liked lodge, so I did lodge. I tried to keep it in the wooden area though. Dark colors next to light creates Contrast which creates eye-appealing and interesting art.

    Be a bit hard to sit on wouldn't it? You'd have a numb bum having sat on that, put a couple of cushions on it, make it into a church type seating area =]
