and i jus saw a post sayin emos like death etc. Infact i dont but i get called emo. I just think about it a lot and yeah i've been depressed still am at times, I wear black makeup n that but why say we're hated

NOOOOO! Not on the emotive hardcore thing again! WHO THE HELL CARES WHAT THE GENRE OR STYLE IS CALLED?! IT DOESNT CHANGE WHAT TYPE OF MUSIC IT IS OR MAKE PEOPLE THINK ANY MORE/OR LESS OF IT. ALL THE BANDS I LISTEN TO COULD BE CALLED "HAPPY HIPPO DANCING PARTY" FOR ALL I CARE, I WOULD STILL LISTEN.

Dont argue over what genre bands are or what genres mean, because no one gives a ****, and if they do, they dont know the first thing about music.

And if you hate people labeling you, dont label yourself. Here's what I mean:
A band you like has a style, of music and of clothing. You decide to follow their trend and wear what they wear. You just labeled yourself. You may not relize it, but you did. People then label you on what you labeled yourself. People think that if you listen to a type of music, you MUST dress like the steriotypical person who likes the same music. That isnt the case at all. In my school we can wear what we want, I dont wear band shirts or follow any trend based on the music I like, because it doesnt matter.
