    Okay some points then
    1. iPod technically own that design so could take it off any site.
    2. No one cares about a bloody image.
    3. So what if they used your idea? It shows it was a good idea if a popular site wants it.
    Thanks.

hmm, i have a few points to make out of this...

    1) unless you get written approval from apple.. displaying that image is copyright infringement in itself, as you are using copyrighted material without the permission of the owner of the copyright.

    2) i cant believe you stooped as low as getting habboxlive suspended over an something you probably ripped anyway.

    3) you really need to get out more... theres much more to life than a computer screen.

    4) go join a forum where people actually give a crap about what you have to say!

This is a laugh-a-minute thread Firstly, Apple own the iPod, so technically they could take you down (or anyone else using their product images for that matter).

It doesn't take 60 hours to make this. I bet you used the tutorial on Pixel2Life to make the graphic, with small changes, and then it's just some pretty simple Javascript to interact with the player.

Now time to close down habbox.com
I have been in contact with the DMCA and Jooma they have provisioned the case of Habbox.com with a non-valid license to run the software thus all copryighted information has been removed.

Meanwhile access to HabboxLive has been restored.
Two problems with that: the Digital Milennium Copyright Act has no jurisdiction outside of the US (it's an American law), so it means nothing. And Joomla is free, so I don't know what you're talking about.

    Firstly,

There was two initial designs for the "MyPod" the Red design and the Black. Myself and awfy did not like the black design so that meant another peice of work to do the white design. (That's where the 60 hours came from)

    Secondly,

We do have written approval which can only be displayed to a company which has written to the DMCA requesting the approval of the licensing information.

Apple UK let us use the image as it isnt trademarked which means we can NOT sell it therefore it is not copyrighted to apple nor we are using any of their images.

    THREAD REQUESTED TO BE CLOSED

I never used any design tutorials due to the fact the majority are Photoshop which I hate, aswell as Fireworks. I'm Paintshop Pro 7, yes very old program but I love it. Plus if you notice that tutorial has a wide shape, more rounded, different colour plus it's not pixeled. So it would be no use to me as I don't like the width of that picture.

I drew it from hand, by looking at the ipod then trying to draw it onto PSP7 much like doing an alteration.

Plus I don't need tutorials as my talent has passed that stage a long time ago. I NEVER look as tutorials as I love to work things out on my own.

    DMCA on Wikipedia

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is a United States copyright law which implements two 1996 WIPO treaties. It criminalizes production and dissemination of technology, devices, or services that are used to circumvent measures that control access to copyrighted works (commonly known as DRM) and criminalizes the act of circumventing an access control, even when there is no infringement of copyright itself. It also heightens the penalties for copyright infringement on the Internet.
It's clear you have no idea what you're talking about. It's only in the USA, and there's no such thing as the "Digital Millenium Copyright Agency", it's an Act
