Sad?

I have paid money into a game which I expect to keep my 'wealth/money' in, I didn't spend money on Habbo over 2 years just for it to disappear because Sulake aren't making money anymore because they thought not be arsed to advertise wouldn't harm them.

It's like when a company collapses that people have paid money into, are they sad if they moan? Before you say Habbo isn't the same as real life, yes I know but it's still money we are talking about.

Then you are equally as sad/dumb for investing in it...

No it is a game, so anyone who plays on PS2's/PS1's and equally as sad? Sulake are loosing money because of their failure to advertise in their peak, they thought numbers would keep rising.

I think you'll find games on ps1/2 aren't chatrooms full of preteens thinking they've got something to prove, nor do they require pay for additional services. So they're incomparable.

I couldn't care less why sulake lose money, I have better things to do than study their finances.

to those who said its impossible: you are wrong, very wrong.

there is nothing to stop the people at HQ to merge both hotels into one with or without prior notice. As stated in the terms and conditions, your account and any furni on it is and remains the property of Sulake. Meaning they can near enough do whatever the hell they like.

You guys need to remember that Sulake is a business, the whole point of a business is to make money, and profits. And if one area, or hotel is failing to meet targets, then changes have to be made in order to turn that around.

i guess we will find out sooner or later how true or not this rumour of the hotels merging actually is

It is impossible. Accounts would be lost, because different people owe the same account names on different hotels. Rare values would be wrecked because rare values are different to each hotel. Staff positions would be messed up, people would lose jobs.

Plus, how exactly, is Habbo US not doing well? Half the time it has more users than UK.
