I guess people choose whether to take pay or not for a little thank you for their hard work.
I think if you refuse it then its gone
Would be nice not to pay them until the day they leftimagine 3 years here doing a few managers jobs etc and leaving with a reasonable pay off for a night on the piss
This could be the way forward unless you get manager leaving then returning just to get a payout

Or you have to earn 'x' units before you can "cash" out. and if you say no then it goes for other funding as at least that ways its abit more money then a pound.
I think its one unit per month, so you have to be doing a decent job for a full month to be entitled to anything.

Pay was introduced whilst I was a Manager here, I never accepted it, because I saw my role here as a privilege and just my opinion volunteers don't normally get rewarded for doing something they enjoy doing, the reward should be the buzz you get out of doing a good job![]()
