    strange competition that was. we should've been second but because of the amount of goals Ajax scored, they got extra points. The only competition where a draw and a loss can mean more than a win and a loss. Not that I'm sore.

    Look under the table and it says "An extra point is awarded for each goal scored".

    It's to make it more interested and to make teams go out and score goals rather than sitting back and know that if they draw, they win.
