We've not finished implementing all changes yet so I wouldn't count out more things being done shortly.

Yes they are on the site, I think it's just loading slowly at the moment.

Hmmmm.. Few bits I like and a few I don't. The main thing I think that is making the whole layout look bad is the Header of the page (banner/news rotating banners/user system nav bar)

The zoomed Habbos and banner container/speech box don't appeal to me tbh.

The nav bar for the user system stuff looks odd. Maybe have the input boxes rounded like the search box? The 4 icons look odd there too.

The rest from the header down looks good.

I don't like the news stories videos, it just looks like a random black square. In the videos themselves, I think the gaps between each line are too long, because I find myself waiting a few seconds before the next line appears.

Yeah that thumbnail was made by me (I am NOT a graphic designer in any way hahaha) and the software we're using is awful. We're trying different things out at the minute because it's easy enough for me to navigate through different software because I am a computer geek but for News Reporters especially Trialists, I have to find something that is easy to use. The next line thing was an issue for me too because I type fast but not bloomin' fast enough... plus I have to try and remember what the story was about (especially if it includes names).

As OSH said we're in the BETA stage with 'New News' so look at for more updates. What do you think in general though? If we were to get better video software... do you like the direction News is going in?

I think Graphics Dept are rustling up some other bits too but (if you don't mind) I think we'll use that one for now!

I hope everyone is enjoying the direction news is taking. I think we have to do something better than text in the generation of Twitter and Youtube (we currently incorporate Twitter in some reports). I would love some other ideas/feedback too.

As for the layout, I too majorly dislike the two habbo heads... looks like a communist russia propaganda style banner haha but the Habbox banner in the speech bubble is nice.

The colours of the whole thing and the Nav I really like too. Very good work.
