I wouldnt have a problem with emo's if they didnt go round yelling their heads off that their individual, because they arent, hair is all the same, covering the face, all wearing converse, all listening to exactly the same music, all in black, they are just another crowd. I don't mean to offend anyone, but of what I see its true, they may have a non-maintstream style and its not uncool, but individual it isnt.

May i add, not all emos wear black.

May i add, not all emos wear black.

Exacty lol - i say it now and i say it again, yeah there is people who think 'emo' look is cool and try it out but to be honest its slowly coming into fashion, maybe not teh tight jeans etc... but the hair, have you noticed that 8/10 posters advertsing clothes have guys with emo hair, an teh dude that refered to teh guy on the bus wearing the 'grandad hat' they are awesomely in fashion, i have one myself and a grandad jacket lol
By saying 'emo' wear tight stuff an have greesy hair etc... you are sterotyping and i been saying and saying it over and over again, i like emo bands and many of my m8s are emos and dnt wear the clothes, you dnt have to be a 'sterotype' to be an emo. Yeah alot of people think its 'the cool' thing at the moment but they're like 1 out of 1000.
An teh eyeliner i dunno whyy its in this forum, if dudes wonna wear eyeliner they can, its not like any1 who dnt wonna wear eyeliner is being forced to wear it lol

Yeh I guess you can be an emo just by listening to the music and nothing more.. but im not so sure, are stereotypes not a way of life as well? Though the music is the most important aspect. Emmzeh, I know not all emo's wear black, but from what i see they do, see them in town alot, all looking the same. I really dont understand the obsession with gerard either.

All the emo's in my area have to have these essentials: (Well im guessing)

1. Black trousers
2. Black gelled long fringe pushed to the side
3. Red or black tie (like w.t.f?)
4. Big chunky black glasses

Sorry about the stereotype, but that's my observation. I don't understand how music makes you dress in a certain way? Aren't clothes just clothes?
