Wouldn't say you should have won, Swansea weren't at their best either and still kept up. Second halfs defence was abysmal, first half wasn't too good either. On a good day Swans would have put at least 3 goals on Man U if they played the same.

So hitting the post twice and having that shot that Young should have scored blocked don't count as three chances, compared to the massive 0 Swans had in the second half. De Gea was not troubled once, apart from the goal, and we exerted the majority of the pressure.

I think if we have scored no one would have said it was lucky that we won. Second half was better than the first, they were barely called upon (the defence) to do anything but get it forward for 45 minutes, in the first half it wasn't good though.

Finally the bolded statement works either way on a good day united would have put in 3 if Swans had played the same, so it's hardly an argument for us not deserving to win?

Finally off topic, when Williams hit the ball in RVP head, haven't seen replays but doubt he meant it and RVP shouldn't have reacted the way he did but I think it was pent up from the lack of decisions he got in the game. Lucky to only have a yellow, retrospectively.


Edit: Just seen the chelsea score, awkward. Good result going into the festive season very much relieved they've fallen behind in the league currently. Ok wow also 8 different scorers, that's impressive.

Yeah the only reason he should be punished is because he shouldn't have been kicking the ball away in frustration, that's bookable in itself. I think the fact his head "got in the way" doesn't really make it a second bookable offence. RVP must have thought a it wasn't the ball and maybe a foot or something and b that it was deliberate.
