Foo Fighters - (even though Pat Smear was in the Germs and Dave Grohl was in Nirvana, Foo is not punk) modern rock

The term 'punk' is misused nowadays. I mean Good Charlotte? What they had a mohiekan on a gay pop video and now they're punk? And Green Day and Foos and co. aren't punk, they are still good but they're not punk. Punk is not music, it's a lifestyle. Now I suspect Grohl to live ina big flashy house in Los Angeles, not in a flat in London with needles scattered all over (I'm not sure it's true but that's what I am expecting Sid Vicious' flat was like).

True true true... although Iggy lives in a big flashy house in LA and was on a Nike ad. And the Buzz****s were on a car commercial. Sad but I can accept that they finally got some money out of their hard work over the years.

And I don't think Viscious ever actually had a place. He'd just crash at Steve Jones and Johnny Rotten's places or in cheap hotels.
