As I said, I could eat fine the day after getting my tongue done, it differs each person. You can eat straight after, it's just a bit tricky because the bar will be so big (it has to be to accomodate for the swelling, but you get it changed to a shorter one after it's gone down).

yeah i've seen how big they are when they're first put in , A relative of mine recently got it done .. but still wasnt alloud to eat anything for a week :S
