I agree alot of athiests are just sheep, and yes america has a higher percentage of christians than to the united kingdom, which I find quite odd, you would have thought a smaller country would be able to maintain their religion more easily but that's not the cause I guess.

two reasons id guess, socaly the uk is probaly quite some way ahead of america, We have a wellfair system, free health cair, No death pentaly, no guns on the streets etc
Also Britan seems to have a more interfrated diversty, America still has far more problems with intergarting diffent cultures and has end up segragating in to ghettos etc, which so far britain has avoided, britan also has far more dirvety threw being joined with eurpoe etc, while america still tends distances itself from other contarys.. then again, britain isnt exsactly the best member of eurpoe, in my opinion simply becuse of the geographic sepertaion "/

Moving back onto the sheep :p Some people never really have much evidence to back up their cause. You ask a typical year ten on the subject they'll either give you a yes I believe in christianity point of view, which when asked why they will most likely say that because I believe in somthing more than to this life, for example.

Indeed, and when chalenged about this, they usealy give reasoning that ether there parnets did, or have a long rant about how im going to spend eternity in hell as i dont accept jesus as my savior...

But when asking most athiests they usually just laugh and go god is for loosers with no life or somthing stupid like that (I've even done this btw)

Simlar to how christans react when they are chalenged and also ignorate to why they belive what they do.

In my opinion britain needs to be given evidence of god and non evidence of god and let people figure it out with their own minds whether to believe or not to believe.

I agree with everything there that you stated, it's true that alot of christians are "warped" into believing god and jesus, god's will wasn't to warp everyone to be mindless christian zombies, it was for them to make their own choice and decision, they will see if they're right when they die.
To be honest I do think that the bible shouldn't be taken "literally" as some stories are not exactly to be taken true, they're more of a story to show you the right path in your life. simple rules for christianity imo.

two simple things. they'll get you through life, but about warped christians psh they make me crazy. I personally believe in darwin's theory of evolutions as the cycle of time 10,000 years ago (biblically) could be alot slower. in 2012 the earth will have speeded up a few seconds I believe. so revert back to 10k+ years ago and you will be looking at a different time scale to ours.

One thing I also believe aswell, all the religions who are monotheistic, I think we're all believing in the same god imo but just looking at it in a different aspect/different story.
