True enough, we never could take over Scotland, but we did set the borders and made it into an official country.

    So scotland probably invented England.
There was life, I wasn't denying that, but it wasn't an official country. Barbarian tribes aren't countries, they're just like basic towns. The English (once England had been formed) decided that rather than admit that they couldn't keep their own people under control, they'd section off the troublemakers, giving them a country (Scotland).

    No, by people like you.
and you're "England invented Scotland" attitude.
Scotland would be far better off if it was seperated from England, and didn't have to be associated with it at all.

Ok so you declared it an official country, big deal?
that is not "inventing" it, or discovering it.

You can't stereotype everyone in a country because of the people running it.

Inventing the borders and name of a country seems pretty much like inventing it to me.

you can't say england 'invented' scotland? what.. did they get JCB's and take mud and gravel and stones from.. other countries and fill in the sea to make scotland?

trekkers from England obviously just kept walking and found scotland.

WE WERE AROUND BEFORE YOU SON.
