Maybe there's no position to fill? Sulake probably wanted to cut back on spending so made her reduntant. Pretty easy, just get Hotel Manager to do more work.

For all the people saying Ione she STILL works for Sulake and is ABOVE the position of Hotel Manager.
Thinking to a while back Colmc was Assistant Hotel Manager but then he went player support. Maybe he will reclaim the title?
