I don't like it when people say rap has no meaning, because alot of it does, but alot of it doesn't. Soulja boy has virtually no meaning, like you can listen to it, and you only think of the dance. While someone like Tupac, you listen and you understand what he is saying. Alot of rock does not have meaning either. I have heard lots of rock songs about sex and drugs, but they are still good songs. I am personally a huge classic/metal rock fan, but I have respect for Rap music, even though 50 cent sucks.

i do agree with tupac his music has a lot of soul and meaning

but most rap now is about women and the things you do with them (no not scrabble *coughs*)

but with rock it all has meaning be it drugs, alchohol, yes some women and lots of other things, example nickelback-rockstar

agreed & lol @ the part about does it offend you, yeah? i heard some of their songs and cracked up at how god awful they were.
