I'd say upperclass because I live off my parents money and software businesses so...? My parents rarely go into their businesses, maybe for meetings. (http://www.google.co.uk/finance?q=LON%3ABRY) I don't want to sound like a snob though :/

well my dad used to earn over £20 in the police and he was quite high up

but he put over (life savings) 100 grand into stocks and shares and lost it all.

First of all, I don't mean to sound as if I am boasting in this post.

My mum's a solicitor, dad owns a prestige car sales garage and they both buy to let houses, we have around 25 houses at the moment around the 100k-200k mark. I guess our income is somewhere around 400k a year because the houses aren't actually at the stage where they make money, they just pay for themselves. It's probably quite a bit higher than average so I'd expect to be upper-middle class or upper class. I voted upper before I read that you're only upper if you're born into dukes etc. So yeh I'm middle class.

Yeah, that's what my mum does. She barely works anymore!
I'm at a point in my life where I don't care if you like me or you don't. If you like me, cool. If you don't, meh.
