Strauss has been doing pretty well with the bat, but England need a few more batsmen to support him when he is out there. Collingwood is someone who can do that but they need just two more better batsmen.

they should just forget their policy of picking the same players for consistency. at the end of the day i think they're in a post-ashes mentality. they wanted to win that so bad to show they are better, which they did, now they don't really care. shame but there you go.

Flintoff is mainly a bowler, isnt really a batter. But if your team cant win when two players are out then you are in trouble ... like now.

Actually, Sehwag, Gambhir and Zaheer Khan are our best players.
We won without them against NZ? We wont without Sehwag in a series against WI?
Englands problem is that not all players perform. Only 2-3 do. India's, atleast 60% do, same for Australia, and like 90% for SA, hence they win.

And btw we have won many matches without Yuvraj. Yuvraj is an allrounder and unfortunately he doesnt always perform with the bat.

I just dont understand why havent they called Ed Joyce? he has been great on south coast and its infuriating when people like shah and bopara are in and struggle to make 10
