i have a friend who just moved to east london, don't remember where, she says
"Holy ****! There are riots going 2 minutes down the road. All the Bangla boys are angry cause they've attacked a mosque. Ahhh I wanna be in Aberdeen right now."
she posted literally 40 minutes saying her area was like a ghost town but now there are riots. spreading quick, someone else says it's in essex too:S

I think it's about time the police got rough with these morons, maybe that'll show them how idiotic their actions are.

They can't, that's why we the need the army to intervene. However, that can't happen until they are given the go ahead. I imagine it'll be discussed at COBRA in the morning (bit late).

What's baffling is all the major news channels are showing raging fires that aren't being tackled in any way whatsoever which probably means that the rioters aren't letting the fire engines get the various fires - many of which are in residential areas

My neighbours went in to our nearby shopping centre a few hours ago but it was all closed off. Seems to be almost everywhere at the moment .

All been going on in Birmingham, Primarks been burnt, they've gotted to Cybercandy (noooo ) McDonalds, Nandos, Footlocker.

Least they've blocked off New Street Station, the Childrens Hospital and Pigeon Park - they must be pretty low to riot in the hospitals and pigeon park
