Starting a new game on San Andreas the minute I get home from college

Los Santos is the only major city in GTA5 so far, it will feature a lot of the surrounding areas but it will not have the other cities, a bit of a shame really because I felt that would of made for a much more interesting map but I imagine the city will simply be bigger this time around.

You see Red County and the desert in the trailer, which proves that the game encompasses the "state" of San Andreas and not just Los Santos.

They said this morning,Rockstar said its LosSAntos, the surrounding beaches and country.
So not the entire state...
Although it would be somewhat nice, yet it will have some downfall in the game,cause like in GTA SA when sweet goes in the hospital and you start out in the woods, the game changes, the paces becomes quickker once in san fierros and even quicker once in venturas

This game is gonna be sweet, no doubt about it. Honestly cannot wait for this... Gonna start a GTA: San Andreas Thread for those of us who are going to start a new game

Also I really hope the buildings, and map and all stays the same, just better graphics, would really suck if it changes at all.

Well I sure hope Red County is as vast as it was in San Andreas. A concrete jungle like in GTA IV would be tedious.

Well it isn't completely confirmed but all signs seem to point towards it being the case, Rockstar could add it as DLC, not sure I would pay for that but you never know, honestly I think it's better that it's just one city because the attention to detail in the trailer alone is amazing and might actually make the overall feel of the game better.

Who cares? Los Santos looks freaking HUGE and there looks like theres a lot of countryside (unless that huge mountain was just part of a skybox in which case shame rockstar)

Guys, you have to remember, the reason they shrunk from SA to IV was so they could add more detail, if you think back to IV you could enter like 40% of the buildings, whereas in SA you could only enter maybe 3-4%, mostly only in missions. Los Santos will probably be larger than LC, hopefully they have the sense to DLC/Expansion/Sequel the other two cities and we've got some countryside so people can enjoy all that.
