Oh well, it has no structure and organisation so it was destined to go out of control. Let's hope the Guardian feature actually has structure or we're screwed.

Giving anyone under the age of 18 the ability to kick/mute anyone would be disastrous and I'm not targeting ages here but things like a "modernised Hobba" actually need structure and require vetting/checking the backgrounds of the people before they can even kick/mute people.

Completely agree. There's a reason children and teens underage aren't allowed to drink, drive, etc; they're not old enough to understand the consequences of the actions they take and often the actions themselves. The Guardian system should be restricted to those over 18, they should be vetted properly (to ensure they're not trying to abuse the position of trust with younger Habbos) and be monitored very closely. The last thing is need is hundreds of tweens running around muting everyone who happens to show them an unhappy smilie.

Well, In my opinion I think things have improved a bit. People seem to be reporting things like cybersex in party rooms. Also I find the moderators a bit better, for example I reported inappropriate behavior in a party room and they came to the room and observed it for a few minutes. Paul does seem to backtrack and change his mind on things but it is good that he keeps users updated.
