Slightly annoying, got used to not seeing ad's.

Simple fix; start reselling VIP, remove ad's for VIP :L

Isn't a bad idea, but hasn't a fix on avoiding it already been provided?

This entire thing is flat out ridiculous. I've come onto internet explorer (the only browser I have without AdBlock) simply to complain about this. You are not going to bring in many more 'new' users or see those with Adblock who browse the forum unregistered come back. This is one of the worst methods you could have chosen to try and gain more money - you need to focus more on promoting Donator and boosting up community members (as discussed in an entire other feedback thread). And if you can, try and get one of the staff members to agree with all the Vip+ stuff being allowed again. I won't bother returning to the site regularly because a) I don't like Internet Explorer and b) I don't want some site forcing me to disable adblock for them, it's not the fact it's "just one small advert" but the fact that you shouldn't be forcing anyone to make the choice of 'whitelisted adblock = yes you can view and not-whitelisted adblock = no you cannot'.

Considering Habbo just sent you an e-mail praising fansites surely you will be able to sell VIP like you used to?
