*REMOVED* guess its easy to get away with considering the way matt replies too. you'd expect it to be normal members being rude but it's generally the moderators... they're more off-putting than normal members/other staff because they're the ones who are supposed to be neutral and not engaging in arguments..

belittling a 13 year old when you're in your mid twenty's, especially online...... you think people would be able to keep their calm and not get so offended by a child insulting them. it's like a baby calling you poo head......

Mid Twenties? I know my life is pretty much over and I'm near bus pass age, but at least give me another three years or so before using that on me!

I wasn't really that offended, mainly because I know what he was saying was a load of tosh, however its not the most pleasant thing in the world to go insinuating. Think theres a difference between what he was saying and "poo head" and it wasnt just on the forum either, he even changed his skype message to things relating to me too and told me I should kill myself and lots more on my profile too.

I think the only thing I lost my calm about was one of his replies which was something along the lines of 'dont worry I'll just go spam the rest of the forum', which I just found really pathetic coming from a staff member and someone that had been contacted a lot about stuff like that.

I won't lose any sleep over it because I think theres more important issues, but its hard to keep your calm when you're moving a kabillion threads, when half the forum are reporting someones posts and theres like 30 open post reports, when you're balancing issuing infractions with keeping on top of arguments and threads going off topic and when you're trying to reason with someone but they are just making things worse for themselves. The fact that it happened over something so silly as a thread being moved to forum games just makes it worse but oh well.

I can't remember what I said, but I didn't intend for it to be rude or engaging in arguments, it was my opinion based on what was going on at the time and I still think it really, child or no child you can tell when someone knows exactly what they are doing and their intentions are to wind people up or cause trouble, I don't think the age thing can be used too much, because sometimes I don't really like some old stupid idiot who should have left habbo years ago and shouldnt be still on this online forum, and if I could change my age I so would, go back and do it all again but as someone younger with more ahead of them, but sometimes I really do feel younger (and probably act it too) but I guess I'm just trying to make up for lost ground.
