All it needs is a little common sense surely lol?? Oh yeah this is Rosy we're talking about

Yeah but they were using your furni weren't they? I think someone is just holding onto mine in their inventory or something.

The Design HxHD thread is about allowing the community to offer their expertise and show what they can do but it states very plainly on the first post of that thread that it is not compulsory for management to choose a design from that thread. It also doesn't necessarily mean that the layouts on that thread won't get chosen by another management team as it is not a competition so not fixed between a particular set of dates. One time the layout might be chosen from page 4, the next from page 14. It is too simplistic to suggest that the designs in the thread are mediocre simply because they weren't chosen, there are a range of factors that are taken into consideration. For example, this layout was likely rushed because of community pressure to change it whereas it'd have most likely been changed mid-June/end of June. Another factor taken into consideration is amount of furni needed for the layout. Another factor might be the small room vs big room debate and whether management fancies a change.

I will also say that I have received feedback from people who ask whether they're the only one who like the new layout (in response to this thread) and it turns out that they are not the only one but they seem to be too intimidated to say it. I will use the help desk regardless of what it looks like because of the people in it not how many sand patches it has. There is a community in that room, show kindness and younger, newer users will respond.

Typical Habbox, stagnating whilst settling for sub-standard quality.

The Habbox I used to know strived to be the best, not "better than the worst".

    Finally, a good idea!

I think he demands a large salary, but hey anything that helps ;l

Oh wow, are you blaming the users for that? Not sure why anyone would be intimidated to say they like something or not.

I know that everyone doesn't like me and is not going to be nice, but that's perfectly fine. In life there is people who will like you and who won't - I know that. I was stating that I don't like how your attitude has been, it doesn't mean that I care what you and anyone else think of me it's just that kind of attitude isn't necessary. If you are really going to tell me that all I do in this department is write monthly reports and add up hours, you are very wrong. You have not been in this department Graham nor have you been in a management position to know what there is to do. Also, Habbox being in the state it's in, please do explain what your meaning of "the state it's in" is. I do agree though that there are things that could be improved on here, but an attitude like yours and some others on this site isn't going to help. We should all be helping each other out, be tolerant of one another, give suggestions, etc to help each part of Habbox get better.

Let's take a look at this post ~

This post seemed pretty much directed towards me. Yes, you have said that your furniture was held longer, but what I was pointing out is that you said in this post which was pretty much directed to me once again,"if you could keep to promises and stick to deadlines of when i get it back!" as I said I did not do neither so I'm not sure how I am lying my way out and I would never do that because that's not the type of person I am.
Why should my attitude matter? Suggesting anything to Habbox never really works unless its forum related lol. You're a manager you should be more competent rather than stretching things out as long as possible. God knows knows how you take so long to do things when you're department has the most seniors of all departments (that i know off) yet contributes the least, as you help users who probably out of every 1 in 100 sign up, and the majority of people that are in the room are already on the forum or know about Habbo so its hardly advertising it lol..

It was directed at you because you where the only one capable of changing the layout (since matt was waiting for you to submit one) Not because you stated i would get my furni back! You obviously did lie since i never stated you said said i would get my furni back by the end of may, i said other people stated it.

Anyways, i don't care now. We have a new layout... I don't see why you dragged this post from the other thread? Are you trying to cause argument?

No blaming them for being scaredy-cats

This would have been ok if they came up with a super fabulous summery layout with cherries on top and free gifts for everyone who entered, but they've just given us a mediocre design with a couple of deck chair dotted round on bits of grass.

And then they wonder why everyone rages :S
Lol if that was the main purpose, there would be a poll to vote or something. The thread is there to help management out with getting a design sorted. It changes so regularly and its hard to come up with new ideas. The layout choice is managements decision and they don't have to use any of the layouts posted in there. None of the ones posted were super fabulous summery with cherries on top either or they would have been used.

As I suspected, the reason for 'no big complaints' is clearly the fact that there's more emphasis on the summery aspects, i.e. the sand and water and then only one section with grass patches. Now imagine if all that sand and some of the water was replaced with grass patches.. it'd look horrible.

I will say that this layout is still not amazing, but I do like it and its much more summery than the one we have at the moment.
Well that's the only one with sand and its from 2011. Last 2 spring layouts were full grass, and summer 2012 was grass with a bit of water.
