Nope, but close. It's an M1330. Identical except for a smaller screen.
I completed ressurecting it the other day with SpinRite (Link), it can fix a lot of hard drives right at the core of the problem .

Wow, that sucks a bit. Try and return it under the sales of goods act, who knows, you might get lucky.

It can fix a lot of hard drive problems, except partitions (Many things can fix those). It works at a really low level.

If you need to use it . Make sure to level 2 the hdd and then level 4 the bad sectors

Tom do you ever use your UMPC for anything? it sounds like a neat idea but I can't really think of any practical uses for it.

Comes in handy for Microsoft OneNote in school, took it to Scotland with me to use in the car.. I have two batteries for it, a shorter 5 hour one and a longer 8 hour one, so it's extremely useful when you get used to it!
