Does it need to be 2004? And id come along but i havent masterd jets fully yet. And need to get all the online stuff on my FS computer.

After seeing some of the posts in this forum Flight Simulator seems to be a pretty good game and I am considering buying it.

But I notice that you're all playing on FS 2004 and not FSX?

Is there a reason other than you probably just haven't got around to buying FSX yet?

I'm confused on which to buy.

It's because FSX is still extremely expesnive. The deluxe version is around £60 and the nowaml one around £50

It depends what computer you will be using. You need a really good computer to play FSX and and preferablly vista. But if you don't have all that then fs2004 will serve you better

Yep. As others said, you need a veryy good PC to run FSX well. But FS9 you dont need as good PC, but its still very good.
