I dont beleive in it...Unless youve seen them, not because you choose looks before personality, so you can see who they are and are they who they really say they are?
In a way it does help people go on Personality before looks.

I only read a few posts in this thread, and I'll say this.
You don't get to know someone 'without the looks', because it's always good to see who you're talking to, especially on that level.
You don't get to know the real person unless they let that show.

So unless you have known them for ages, and they're being honest with you, then maybe you can. But mostly teenagers net date (some adults too, but not as common), and teenage relationships rarely last. Plus, teenagers don't see the difference between love and lust.
