    Welcome to the POWERpanel installation!
    You are currently at Stage 2 of the installation

    In stage 2 we will try to connect to your MySQL server and database. If we can, we will make your configuration file

    Congratulations! We have successfully connected to the MySQL Server!

    Sorry, we couldn't connect to the MySQL Database. Please ensure the database exists!

    Whats that mean?

    Can I get help with that?
    I know i have the MySQL Data.

    Make sure the database you specifed exists..

    Say you said your database name was "flab_pp".

    Make sure the database "flab_pp" exists and is empty.

    cus doing it manually would defeat the whole object of an installation file.

    and you need to actully have the database existing along with a database name if you understand me.

    *EDIT 1 - I JUST BOUGHT VIP :p*

    I mean instead of just checking whether or not the database exists and if not displaying an error message why not use:

    PHP Code:
    mysql_db_create();
    To just create it..

    Meh, might aswell.

    I'll code it when I get back from walking my doggg.

    I was going to do mysql_query("CREATE database panel");

    but I guess mysql_create_db(); does the same thing.
