Okay I've just been talking to someone who got past level 12 ages ago but gave up in the end but he said that the shim.gif is a distraction and that it has nothing to do with getting the answer.
Knowing the dude who told me he probably tricking me so I never get it

shim.gif is a distraction, it's something to do with the logo in the top left. I'm still trying to figure it out myself
