Why? Just get a decent cooler and overclock your Q6600 to 3.6 IMHO

Getting a Q6600 to 4GHz stable is going to be very difficult. Especially on air. Perhaps it would be better to invest in a Q9450 / Q9650. I was thinking about this as my Q6600 is only good for 3.7GHz - after that, it won't get stable above that no matter how much voltage I pump into it. 45nm quads are the way to go for 4GHz+.
By all means, you should have a pop at it though. I mean, if you enjoy overclocking you should get some fun out of it.

Yeah. 4GHz is for your e-peen enlargement.
Actually, yes i will see a performance increase from 3.6ghz to 4.0ghz, because i use my computer for 3D Video Editing, After Effects etc. and encoding. Those programs heavily use the cpu.
